My 51 days experience with the warrior diet.
I have quit the warrior diet, because it does not serve me anymore I have lost
6.4kg in 51days that is way too much weight to lose in such a short time for my
body type. It is easy to lose weight just eat less and train more it is harder
to build muscle than to lose weight. So
I am going to do the reverse now and gain my 7kg back (hopefully a lot of it
will be muscle and not fat) in the next 50 to 60 days it will be my next body transformation.
I am thinking which supplements I should use glutamine, Gaba, Tribulus Terrestris
some added whey protein or should I just go crazy on the meat. I need to put up
the intensity and start stacking up on some coffee beans or Bioplus for the
caffeine. Something like that will get my adrenaline up and aggressive enough
to put in the intensity I need to build it up for winter.
I will need Calcium supplements as well I have lost some bone density the last week ,because I changed my habit from eating before I go to bed to eating before training the last 10 days which was an bad idea. Losing bone mass goes along with muscle loss and my lead to female athlete triad syndrome in women. This is an simple cause of energy imbalances where the body does not get enough energy for the work being performed, but this is hardly the case in today’s modern society where we have supplements and food all around us to feed our body after exercise and to grow faster and stronger.
You have to intentionally destroy your body like I did in the last 10 days for this to actually happen. Not everyone is tough enough or have the knowledge of anatomy physiology, nutrition and/or supplementation and experience to train and perform like athletes do. If you want to perform, look and feel good you need to put the fuel into your body which is healthy food and supplementation in some cases. I was doing this also to push my limits and to see with how little food I can get away with, with maximal effort as an experiment.
You need the protein before you go to bed if you only eat one meal a day and train at a high intensity, because you only really grow and repair your muscles when you sleep and you need the proteins for that. If you only eat in a five hour time frame once a day and you are burning all that energy as fuel to exercise you have no building blocks to repair your body with while you sleep. The best time to grow and repair your muscles is when you sleep and you do it by feeding your body at the right time before you go to sleep, but you must do the strength work first. You can do this diet by forcing your body do burn fat as fuel in a fasted state just keep in mind you will lose some muscle mass with it which is never a good thing ,but if you are disciplined and get all the proteins and vegetables in before you sleep your body will recover and regain its strength minus the fat. If I say fast I mean I did not take anything into my body except for water in a 19hour period everyday for 40 days. The first week I only took black coffee no sugar or milk just pure coffee beans.
You will gain muscle in the beginning, if you get all your proteins in before bed time, your testosterone levels will go up, if you follow a weight or strength training program, and you will have a lot of energy from the adrenaline your body will produce. Your body will become sensitive to food after a wile which is good for food absorption and muscle recovery. Your adrenaline will go up during the day, because you will have no food in your system it’s your bodies age old natural survival instinct to make you more alert to go look and hunt for food, but it could also be the opposite so listen to your body and If you do want to try this make it your own experience and seek medical advice first don’t take my advice for it I am also experimenting with this your in control of your own health this is not advice only my experience I am sharing with you. The first week I was tired the second week I had too much energy and I did not sleep allot only after the 3rd week it felt normal to me. I am not done with the warrior diet for now, but will try again after I regain my weight.
51 days is not good for a fair enough experience I will do another 40 days balanced meal plan to regain my weight back and try the warrior diet again. It is really good for detoxification especially for someone that eats the way I do it can get really discussing if you start putting in the volume and intensity of work. There is method to this madness. Some scientists believe time restricted feeding can lead to longevity (prolonged lifespan) and it may reduce the risk of some diseases. My only challenge is to do that without taking anything except water in my body and not to lose too much muscle and to be disciplined until the end of the day… Not to eat is the easy part the fear of losing muscle, bone density and strength is where my confidence starts to flip either up or down. If you know what you’re capable of you can see how humans evolved over time. What is stopping us to continue evolving into more productive machines today?
